Lego Rock Band yellow and blue frets stuck down?

I'm trying to play lego rock band but the game thinks my yellow and blue frets are always pushed down.

Using a ps2 guitar controller with adapter, configured it in settings. The settings shows that each button works so I think it's something with the game.

Does the same thing happen if you use a different controller?
