Launching channels from the Wii menu?

I've tried to create some miis for a mariokart wii safefile, but while i tried that, i recognized that i am not able enter a channel from the wii menu, i can only play channels from the dolphin menu by using the WAD.
Is this an issue with my settings or does this feature simply not exist? I use the newest versions of the menu and the channels. |
