Hi.
Everytime i start a game with LaunchBox, and any Panic Handler pops up, my Computer crashes and i need to reset it.
Google and search didn't help.
Disabling Panic Handlers solves this, but it would be nice to have a better solution for this.

Thanks in advance.

Is there any reason you're using launchbox? I haven't heard of the program myself. What does it do?
I'm really addicted to playing Tornado Outbreak. :3

Was waiting for an answer befor i open a thread in LaunchBox forums. And i saw a few LaunchBox related Threads here so thought it's well known in this comunity. Well, i love it. Smile
I posted it here because LaunchBox has no problems handling other emulators i use (afaik). I thought maybe it's cause Dolphin and LaunchBox are fighting about something, and let my Computer crash.
It's not really a problem, cause i have the Panic Handler disabled most of the time.
I'll post this in LaunchBox forums later today.
Thank you.

Yeah, I was gonna suggest you post this in the LaunchBox forums. I use LaunchBox w/BigBox for all my emulators. Personally I don't have any problem running the Dolphin emulator with the front end. But, of course, you could have different settings than I have that's causing the problems
Windows 11 Home x64
Intel Core i7-10700
Nvidia Rtx 2060 6GB
32.0 GB DDR4 RAM

You probably shouldn't be getting panic handlers often enough to notice though, or at leas that's been my experience with them. If everything is working correctly it should be very rare, right?

Hmm, it sounds like it runs Dolphin without a main window, and when Dolphin tries to open a dialog/window to a non existing main window, it crashes. I guess this LaunchBox basically runs Dolphin with a command line parameter? Does the same happen if you run Dolphin from command line with the same command? If yes, this would be a Dolphin issue, i think.

I would also guess there there's a difference in behaviour between renter to main on and off.

Something changed and i don't know why. I updated to Dolphin x64 5.0-9616, and LaunchBox (with BigBox, i love it too) to 9.5.
And now my Computer doesn't crash anymore, and LaunchBox can't be the problem, because what's happening now is happening to Dolphin only, no matter how i open it (with or without LaunchBox).
So now, whenever the Panic Handler sends me a popup warning, Dolphin just stops after starting the game and getting the warning and i can't click anything. But now nothing crashes anymore, not my computer and not Dolphin. I can press ESC to close Dolphin.
This happens ONLY in Fullscreen mode, when i start in Windowed Mode i still can click on OK in the popup warning and play the game.

I personally never had problems with LaunchBox, this was my first and it looks like it wasn't LaunchBox.

I have trouble with Bluetooth Passthrough and the Libusbk drivers. That wiki solution didn't work for me, but just installing the WinUSB drivers made my BT Stick work almost perfect. So i get the "LIBUSB_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED" Warning everytime i start a Wii game. Afaik these LIBUSB errors are a known problem with no solution.

Hmm... to be honest i have no clue, that's above my head.
Does the Dolphin Team has some kind of "Premium Remote Control Customer Service" for it's DAU users? Smile

Well i hope the info about the Fullscreen / Windowed difference helps. For now i'm good with dissableing the Panic Handler.

Thank you for your time. We DAU'S are thankfull.
