"Can't create opengl renderer. You might be missing some required opengl extensions, check the logs
for more info"

And then I'll click OK and get a Windows message saying Dolphin.exe has stopped working, blah blah blah. And it will close automatically.

update your graphic drivers if you have ATI or nVIDIA. If you have an intle chipset you have to use the old DX9 plugin in LuisR14's sig

D: I got the following message:

"Sorry, but it looks like your 3D accelrator is too old, or doesn't support
features that Dolphin requires. Falling back to software vertex processing."

BUT! -- the game loaded up... quite quickly too... until I actually started the game. The title screen came on (playing Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, btw) and when I started the single player story, it was SO SLOW. Like, extremely slow -.- Even though I could flick through the menus after the title really quickly =/ Oh well.

Still, it's working, so thanks!

I swear I can't win. I get the openGL error using the the openGL plugin, and since I have an Intel chipset, I tried downloading and using the old DX9 plugin, and THAT crashes the whole emulator on load. I'm not using ancient hardware here; I've got a Geforce 9800GT in this thing... here's my error log:

Call stack info:
ntdll!0x7C9113C0 : RtlDeleteCriticalSection
0x03ACA177 : ?
0x03B5BCF1 : ?
ntdll!0x7C90118A : LdrInitializeThunk
ntdll!0x7C923ADA : RtlDestroyEnvironment
kernel32!0x7C81CAAE : IsValidLocale
kernel32!0x7C81CB26 : ExitProcess
0x03B5B81A : ?
0x03B5BA07 : ?
0x03B5BA30 : ?
0x03A99A4F : ?

Unhandled Exception
Code: 0xC0000005
Call stack info:
Dolphin!0x00000000 : ?

Anybody have any suggestions?

the Dx plugin is not for the Intel chipset, it's for the Intel GMA IGPs Tongue, and your graphics card supports the OpenGL plugin so maybe you haven't upgraded you graphics drivers Smile

I meant all fairly recent ones Wink

Does anyone really have a GeForce 2 anymore?

Sorry, probably should've said it before Smile
