You no need to install the driver in that page.
Because the lastest driver has already support CUDA and OpenCL. About the SDK, CUDA is not the same as OpenCL. If you using ATI display card you only need to install ATI Stream 2.1. If you using NVIDIA you will only need NVIDIA GPU Computing SDK and Sample. Then read the Wiki Page to follow the instrustion about how to build with VS2008. And the lastest change has fixed the black graphic problems. So, it should work fine... 06-23-2010, 05:14 PM
Will OpenCL builds be runnable/playable on computers without OpenCL support?
Also, to build do you just install the SDK and build like normal or do you need to add and/or replace executables/include/library paths? 06-23-2010, 05:33 PM
Only can run with display card support OpenCL.
So, the lastest version add a checkbox to control it. You need to add include and library paths of the SDK just like Diectx SDK. You should go read the wiki guideline. But, OpenCL is more stable now. 06-23-2010, 08:47 PM
ATI OpenCL support is kinda messy, I recommend those modified drivers, they are much better performance wise and OCL actually works - http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=322616
