Resident Evil 4 works fine on OpenGL for me.
Latest Dev Build Broken

That's great for you but not me. As it was working fine before it seems a specific revision broke it. What driver are you using, I had to roll back to 337.88 since I was experiencing some issues with my pc games but afaik RE4 was working fine up until a specific commit.
It was working fine up until the 4.0-2877 commit so something prior broke it for my hardware and/or drivers. It seems it's not something I can resolve on my end other than using the DX11 backend. 09-07-2014, 11:35 PM
I'm using the Latest NVIDIA drivers + Latest build, and not having any issues. If your problem is caused by deprecated/outdated drivers, I don't think it's worth complaining. Otherwise, make an issue report.

337.88 was the last WHQL driver release. 340.52 WHQL has some issues with games so I had to roll back and it's not my drivers because it was working fine until a recent commit broke it. I'm asking someone experiencing the same issue to track the commit responsible as I'm limited with data usage. It's only RE4/RE1 so far, every other game is working fine.
Probably one of the JIT commits that broke it since I noticed it broke around that time. Where do I even go to submit an issue report since the move to git? 09-07-2014, 11:44 PM
337.88, afaict, still had the OpenGL virtual/RealXFB problems, which was fixed by later ones. That's why I believe you're crashing again.

Well crap then I forgot about that.
But why just those two games when all others are working fine? I do believe I tested after I rolled back my drivers and these games were working fine but I'll have to try to remember the last build these games were working with to see if it's my drivers or the emulator. I get a lot of stutter with the 340.52 drivers in certain PC games so I rolled back until the next WHQL drivers are released. 09-08-2014, 12:54 AM
Yeah it was the Nvidia/OpenGL issue. Oh well I could have sworn I tested that game using OpenGL with the 337.88 driver..
