Using r5460 with a wiimote and motion plus. Game works fine for usually about 5 minutes and then it locks up. No error message, just hit escape and relaunches.

Disabling dual-core seems to fix this. I haven't tested that long though because it really hurts performance.

I've tried opengl/d3d same thing. Does anyone know what was the last version that worked with wii resort? Or is there a way around (besides single-core) this crash?

Let me guess. You have an Nvidia graphics card?

yes I do. Why, is this nvidia specific? Is there a workaround?

Nvidia cards are problematic with some games. Random crashes can happen in wii resort/wii play, totally black screen in boss battles in SMG under dx9 plugin, draw errors with large textures randomly ("fbmanager :: failed to create depth texture")

Sounds strange, when it's typically ati drivers that are buggy. Not with dolphin necessarily but with games in general ati is worse.

But I haven't read anything of a nvidia bug. I read this might be due to the newer code for multiple wiimotes.

I tried rev 4727 (and a few others), but with the older versions I can't get wii resort to launch, just a black screen.

I would like to still try it in an older version so if someone knows whats needed to get wii resort working with 4727 that would be good.

It sounded like it was this bug as disabling dual-core fixes the problem.

You need a special sysconf for sports resort and older revisions like 4727.
After that the game is stable. Try opengl and copy-to-texture.

Thanks I downloaded a special sysconf with 4727 and it works. well, no crashes anyway.

One thing I guess the sysconf I downloaded is french. Is there a way to change that? I'll look for another sysconf though.

Also, I'm getting slowdowns in table tennis. It seems to be on serving/returning whenever it vibrates. Maybe it has nothing to do with that but is there a way to disable vibrate?

I hope they fix this soon in a more recent svn. Is it a wii resort issue or a motionplus issue?

i think you should be happy if only table-tennis is laggy...
you have to try diff things in the dolphin-config or use the 4710 wich supports only one wiimote, but without any problems, imo

one thing at last, if you find a way to get d3d running - let me know, please

Thanks for that. Works great. Maybe I'll hunt down 4710 but I don't see a precompiled version anywhere. And so far, 4727 I don't have controller issues.

I played with d3d but couldn't get it working either. Had a green section in one quarter of the screen.
