I'll be frank here; I've created this account to specifically find out what the last build was that supported OpenAL.
The stable release has OpenAL support but the latest expiremental builds doesn't, I'd like to have the last unstable build that still supported OpenAL.
I've looked through github but wasn't able to find the answer to my question.
Not sure if this belongs here or in the Development section, hope this is right.

If anyone is able to help me with this, thanks in advance.

Probably 5.0-4516: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/0f3ee2f209be901a0b3de2d01d6eb3a47f4af888/

But I think it might work in newer versions if you copy over the DLL file.

Much appreciated.
What about getting it working on newer versions in Linux? Is there a way to re-add the OpenAL lib to the emulator?

Ah, no, I think it just doesn't work anymore on Linux.

That's unfortunate, but understandable.
The build you sent me will probably suffice though.
Big shoutout to you guys for being the finest damn emulator I've ever witnessed, keep up the good work!

Cheers.

May I ask why you want OpenAL support? It's quite literally the worst performing Audio backend in Dolphin by a very, very long shot. If you absolutely need OpenAL support for something, then I think we've failed with the newer backends. OpenAL has the most latency, the least number of features, and regularly doesn't work with certain games due to how it was designed before Dolphin had built-in audio stretching.
