Overheating -> GPU clock speed go down , Turbo Boost will be disabled -> CPU run at base clock or even slower -> Dolphin run slow
Most multi-media laptops are not capable of running Dolphin for a long period of time
Most multi-media laptops have single fansink while gaming laptops have big-dual fansink
Aftermarket Thermal Compound (gaming laptop) is much better than OEM Thermal Compound (multi-media laptop)

You got a 64-Bit OS so you'd better use a 64-Bit version of Dolphin

Guess Big Grin .
You'll get slowdowns due to CPU throttling. If you notice this check your temperature. If it's too hot stop playing to avoid the worse for your system

I've just answered to you.
Try also to make pauses while playing. Don't play too long Tongue .
It's a laptop. There aren't a lot of things you can really do
