Hello there!

I've read the forums and saw the compatibility list so I know my setup isn't the best. However Dolphin never uses above 30-40% of my hardware....
What is my hardware you may ask. Well it is as follows:
CPU: FX6300 (Stock)
GPU: GTX 1050 2gb (Slightly overclocked)
RAM: 8gb

I'm running Mario Kart Wii with 2x native resolution.

Is it really my hardware that sometimes makes my game lag? I see no difference between 2x native resolution and the normal native resolution...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Single core performance of that CPU is probably what's holding you back. Dolphin can be using 100% of single core but only be using 1/3 (33%) of the available hardware since it can't scale to all 6 threads. The FX chips are in pairs of 1 true core and one psuedo core so the 6 core FX6300 only really has 3 true cores available.
