So I've been doing some searching and testing and haven't been able to find something that works yet... But basically the issue I've been having is that when I run Skyward Sword (I've been using Dolphin 5.0-9322) it is quite laggy in most of the settings I test out. I have tested the native resolution, 720p, 1080p, etc. as well as all the different anti-aliasing settings. I was able to find something that worked for someone else who seemed to have a similar issue where they disabled the Dual-core and disabled v-sync. I tested it, but without any success... I've made it so my PC runs in High Performance mode, as well as set Dolphin at max performance in the Nvidia Control Panel. I'm pretty sure that my laptop has the capability of running the game and should be able to run it at good fps (from other videos and threads I've seen), but I'm not sure what other settings or options I should try to get it to run at full fps and preferably with higher resolution.
I have a first gen Surface Book with the Performance Base (Nvidia GeForce GTX 965M). I've kept the driver updated. The processor is Intel Core i7-6600U, 2.60GHz. 16 GB RAM.
(I should also mentioned that I've tried it on Dolphin version 3.5 and 5.0 stable version with no success... Also, the average fps I get when doing 720p or 1080p is about 24 fps. It goes up to about 27 when I do the native resolution.)
If anyone has any suggestions or help that would be appreciated! Thanks so much!
