Hi All,
Decided to play Resi Zero and have it running real nice. The trouble is theres now this lag counter on the top left corner and cannot get rid of it.Apologies in advance if this has been covered, im just another moron messing up your forum.

The lag counter doesn´t have anything to do with playing the game. It just measures how bad the controls respond.

The worst the reaction of controls, the higher the lag number gets.

Disable it in Emulation/Show lag counter.

IIRC, the lag counter is primarily useful for TAS users. If you have no interest in doing TAS (or don't even know what it is :p) just turn it off as DJBarry explained.

I really can't imagine any other possible use for it, if you're not tasing.

Research purposes, probably, and maybe homebrew debugging if noticeable lag occurs in Dolphin but not real hardware (or vice versa). Some games show no to minimal lag while others (Megaman X Collection for example) shoot up pretty quickly. If someone ever wanted to know why it happens in some games but not others, it would be a helpful tool.
