keyboard won't detect

I'm using the latest stable build 5.0. My old keyboard (a bluetooth keyboard) worked fine. I got a new keyboard (also bluetooth), dolphin didn't recognize it, neither in game or when I try to configure it. I restarted my pc, uninstalled and reinstalled dolphin, disconnected and reconnected my keyboard, connected via usb, none of these things has made any difference. Eventually, I downloaded the latest beta (5.0-13178 at the time of writing). When I opened up the controller config, it says my keyboard is disconnected. It is connected by both bluetooth and usb and is showing on my device manager. I confirmed my drivers are up to date.
