Keyboard/Input issues

I am having trouble with Dolphin on a Mac.

The stable version is able to detect my input, but is unable to play F-Zero GX. It does play Metroid Prime just fine however.

I tried downloading various nightly builds (from the latest to the oldest), and they can run F-Zero GX and Metroid Prime just fine, but it doesn't detect any of my input. (runs fine as in I am able to get to the title screen, but I can't "Press Start").

Any clue on how to fix this?

Make sure you have 'port 1' set to 'standard controller' under 'config'-->'GC' tab.
