Anyone played this? I am currently 1 hour in...

It's a visual novel/"dating sim" released for free by an independent group. HOWEVER... it's taking place in a school for handicapped.

(From the description I myself assumed it's for people with a fetish or something, but actually it seems more like wanting to teach the morale of handicapped people being people too, nothing sick or weird is based on the character's handicaps.)

Visual novels aren't my thing, actually at the bottom of my list in terms of things I want to play, but I'm planning to check it out anyway. I'm mainly interested in seeing what sort of things internet communities can make if they put enough effort into it. The Linux version is 32-bit only, too lazy to download to my laptop right now.

Well I played some commercial visual novels (Kanon, Clannad) and the production value seems to be at least on par with those (minus voice acting). The setup with 5 branches is pretty similar, will have to play each and compare the story quality (IMO the Kanon characters had somewhat lame back stories, for involving supernatural stuff.)

Now I haven't actually played into a branch yet, but from the similarity so far, it seems all the girl will have some tragic backstory just like Kanon/Clannad, which would mean the game gets very sad. (Or maybe this is pretty normal for a book, I don't read very many...)
