Just upgraded. What happened ?

I had left Dolphin alone for some time and now I installed the latest mamario build and I'm having problems. Plz help :

1) Where is the Wii stuff saved ? I only backed up my sd.raw (130mb) and deleted all the rest of the old files, then extracted the new build there. Now Mario kart doesn't have my profile, I then deleted the sd.raw file just to be sure it wasn't causing problems.

2) Mario kart always ran fine with the settings I use now (pretty much the default stuff anyway), but now the menus laggg down to 7-8 fps. Races go at half speed. I tried framelimiter off and audio throttle on and the reverse, still sluggish.

Using D3D plugin, e8400@3.3ghz both cores are being 100%, 4gb RAM, gtx260, win7x64, Dolphin 5459x64. It used to run fine for many revisions !

3) Tried Metroid Prime, after 30seconds into the intro it froze and Dolphin crashed. Now after running it, it searches the roms and the main window doesn't come up, although it's visible in the taskbar. I guess only a restart will fix this.

Any information ? Huh

you only backed up the most useless file.. the gamesaves info is in \User\Wii\TITLE and \User\GC

The new rev higher than 51xx will break alot of game but more stable for some game .If you want the fastest and most stable then get 5186 64bit SSE3 from spellforce and yes Metroid Prime run fine

if want everything just copy the whole User folder.

Well, I don't care about my saves anymore, now Dolphin is unusable. Even Mario Kart is slow ! And I can't believe it crashed during the Metroid Prime intro (which I used to use for benchmarking, I must have watched it 100 times in older Dolphin)

And now Dolphin won't even load ! Even after a reboot. After processing my roms, it stays on the taskbar, the window doesn't come up.

Is it unusable for you guys, too ?

It 1 times happened to me before : when dolphin crash ,I stop dolphin immediately cause it's error and the solution is use another dolphin revision or reinstall windows

User\Config
try delete gfx_dx9.ini or/and gfx_opengl.ini

sometime dolphin open game window off the screen

I deleted Dolphin.ini and then it worked.

looks like it was something wrong with the settings.
