Hi everyone,

Just now starting out with Dolphin, and despite trying to figure it out myself, I am lost on how to get my controller to connect to this thing. I have a wired Xbox controller, and it's USB'd into the PC. How the heck do I get it to play?

So we don't come with default inputs, so you'll need to configure it yourself. So for GameCube controllers (pay attention to what the game wants, many wii games don't use GameCube controllers), just go to Controllers, and under GameCube controllers there is Port 1 - Standard Controller. Click Configure beside it and you'll see the mapping window. Then just assign Xbox buttons to the emulated GameCube controller however you like. The GameCube Controller isn't exactly the same as an Xbox controller (hence the lack of default inputs) but it doesn't really matter how you map it, just set it up however you feel works best.
