okay, I followed the thing for ripping the saves blah blah....

One thing I didn't consider were the versions.... I'll need the same version that the saves were created on (I.E PAL, NTSC or what ever :/) that I didn't think about, so I need to double check the version I created the saves on.

Everything should be fine, just need to adjust my settings for the best graphical performance, I'll do this later as I've got to go out now, but I'll get back to you all soon, thanks for the help so far Smile

Okay, I'm trying to perfect my settings for skyward sword, this is a screen grab from the game:

as you can see the background gets all blurred. I may have to OC my system a little bit, as although its playable, there is slight lagging and sticking every now and then and I'm sometimes a bit of a perfectionist :/ Help you guys can give will be appreciated Smile

*EDIT*
my bad, link to pictures of my settings at the moment here:

You can try to rise your Internal Resolution (IR). The HD 6850 should be able to handle 3xIR.

Right I OC'ed my system a little bit, so I'm running at a CPU speed of 3448 MHz which is..... 3.44Ghz? (I think)
Any ways, I knocked my IR up to 4xIR and theres still blurring in the back ground, I'ma mess with some stuff myself, but if any one has any more adjustments that are more "intentional" let me know Smile

Other than that, thanks very muchly for the help you guys have given me, its been muchly appreciated Smile

You realize that the game is supposed to look like that? .. (I don't see what's different from actual game graphics, at least)

Yea I caught on to the background being like that... I realised that my settings have neatened up some stuff, but I was focussing on the background expecting it to be clearer... oopps >.< but yea, I have the graphics at a good level now, crisp and clean Smile only issue now is controller problems I'm having, I've posted in the Skyward sword controls thread about that, just waiting some feed back

My bad about the privacy thing, changed the album to public now, I forgot about that :p again, any suggestions for adjustments always appreciated, you guys know more than me after all Smile
oh and the version I'm using is 3.0 - 589.

Thanks for the help, hopefuly I'll be able to help some one else out some time in return Smile

Turning off AA will not magically remove the DoF effect. Only breaking the emulator will.
