Give SMG2 a try. See how high you can push it with each backend before you encounter microstuttering and/or framerate drops.

I've tested OpenGL and damn wasnt expecting it to go that high. I was able to get 7x above 60 fps was getting around 75ish running with no aa who needs aa that high right? :p Just had anisotropic at 16x. Ill do some testing for d3d. any other game you'd like me to try out?
I had some stuttering at 8x for OpenGL

Any modern card has no problem pushing 60fps at 7xIR (e.g. the relatively weak Radeon HD7850 can do it).
Even "dinosaur" cards such as the HD6850 are good for up to 6xIR (D3D backend).

SMG2 is far from demanding (CPU->EFB access is what really makes it slow).
DKCR w8-6 (or the most demandng part of w8-1) is a better test.

But if you want a *real* stress test that pushes the GPU to the limit, try the XbC "Clash of the Titans" cutscene (and watch your framerates drop to the low teens).
Let's see if the GTX 960 can handle that one @ 6xIR without dips. Smile
