Originally: athlon x2 245 (2.9ghz) and amd R 260x. I'm only referring to areas that had a smooth, normal 30fps for this judder stuff.
The distance between the object and the judder image was rather large, like there was one half to a whole copy of the object being ghostly overlaid. The judder was annoying, but tolerable.

Now: G3258 @ 4.3 Ghz in a z87 board + amd R 260x.
The distance between the object/judder image is very small, like a few pixels apart. You'd think this would be better, but now everything either looks like it's shimmering or has a weird vibration-esque feel to it when the camera pans. It gives me a headache.

Things look smoother at a forced 60fps on my regular 60hz monitor and current build. So, what I'm wondering is if other people get this same type of judder and if there's anything I can do about it. I tried various dolphin builds and configurations, and nothing seemed to affect it. I hesitate to dismiss it as a 30fps issue alone.

(I'm pretty sure judder is the correct term to use)

What games is this happening in, and can you post a picture?

Should be any game, but I can only test twilight princess and xenoblade.

Screenshots will come out normal. Not sure if I can take a picture of my monitor and have it come out ok or not.

Also, it seems to be somewhat better if I shrink the game window.

Twilight Princess at least has a really silly looking bloom at higher internal resolutions, but it should result in a "glow" around characters, rather than something hugely offset.

Just wanted to follow up. I recorded a game using software and then during playback it was also full of judder. If I paused the video however, there was nothing wrong with the image. I used SVP to add frame interpolate to the video, making it 60fps, and there was no judder. So this is definitely some weird 30fps thing on my build. I tried on board graphics, a windows 10 preview build (for a clean install), a different graphics card, and a CRT monitor. The CRT could only do a high refresh rate at lower resolutions, and the judder isn't as bad at lower resolutions, but it seemed like it wasn't very different.

I haven't noticed it in anything else. I know you should expect some judder with 30fps, but this is worse than before :/

Le sigh.
