When I tried JPCSP it was very buggy. It seems like things run pretty well nowadays.
I wonder how games like Monster Hunter, Final Fantasy, etc fare now.

Nice screenshots too Gabriel. Especially that Symphony of the Night part. Tongue

I have an AMD card, ASUS Radeon HD 6950 2GB to be precise.
Well here are the settings from the tabs I know I have been in, the rest should be untouched:

"Long Library" has always been my favorite level (I love the music) Smile

Yeah the Long Library is a nice area with noble music.
Olrox Quarters is one of my favorite areas with Dance of Pales for music, a nice waltz.

It's great to finally be able to play all three versions of Symphony of the Night on the PC now.
The PSX version, the Sega Saturn version and the PSP version.

The PSX version is the one that feels most incomplete, but it was the first version I ever played so it's good nevertheless. The Sega Saturn version is the most complete version with a lot of extras and with right settings in SSF it's a nice experience. The PSP version (at least PAL & NTSC-U) features new voice overs for the Symphony of the Night game, I went with the Japanese version of Dracula X Chronicles for a crap load of other reasons. It also features a different playable Maria then the Sega Saturn version. She plays more like her younger self from Chi no Rondo + there is the two Japanese only familiars (which I think is in the PAL & NTSC-U versions too)

The only downside with the PSP version is that you can't do the trick with the Sword familiar in the Long Library shop, duplicating jewels.

Glad it worked out for you Smile
But I gotta ask you something hyperspeed, when characters talk (example Alucard talks to the Librarian, Maria or Richter) do you hear their voices? Here it's just silence and the familiars voices are silent too (they usually speak when you take them out) and I haven't found a fix for that.
Voices in Dracula X Remake and Chi no Rondo are just fine but in Symphony it's a no no. The only voice I have been able to hear is the guy in the beginning after the prologue when the white text is scrolling and occasional familiar voice when they attack.

My guess is that this audio isn't decoded with SonicStage and probably need something else.
But it isn't the end of the world, I have heard the voices a thousand times before so I can live without them for the moment if it's just a glitch or something.

I'm currently at the inverted castle and heading towards the Library with the Schmoos, I have a feeling there is a certain Crissaegrim sword waiting for me there Big Grin

Almost yes. Two of them are the ultimate weapon(s).
Alucards shield is much stronger, but I think it loses in speed and having to redo the Shield Rod technique every time.
