Download the latest version, this issue is fixed. I found out that for whatever reason, every build past 2879 (or something around that, too lazy to confirm) was being built instead of new versions. This was sorted out, I just tested the latest version and it is what it should be. This explains why when I compiled with the fix, it worked for me; the fix always worked, it was just never used in the buildbots because they were just rebuilding the same version.

Actually when we upgraded the buildbot to new build tools we didn't realize that the output directory changed for the apk.
This caused us to keep copying the old binary to the location on the server it needed to be.
So the new builds were building, people just weren't getting them ;p

Lol, I'm glad I noticed the build number in the about section; if not, I could've wasted a lot of time trying to find an issue in the code.

Out of interest, besides the controllers issue, were there performance enhancements amongst these upgrades also?
