Hi! i know this questions have been made before... but i think it is not exactly the same..
The thing is that since i always thought JitIL is faster than Jit and that i would get more fps if i install a Vista 64 bit and i run dolphin from there rather than my xp 32 bit... I tried yesterday and the result is... Is slower!! with exactly the same settings, i tried several revisions by Orleans and for example in zww i got around 20 in xp and now 12! its a huge difference! and also i get more speed with the JIT exe than with the JitIL, in several games.

So am I doing something wrong, or it doesn't make difference (get worse) to use a 64 bit dolphin in the last revisions??
What is the advantage of JitIL if not being faster??

Another thing that i have notice is that in general is slower than older revisions.. for example i have always played SSB of GC with 60 fps constant, now its around 30-40.. is that happening to everyone??

Besides all of this, thanks for the big progress of the emu concerning compatibility and sound!.

gonna have troubles with that spec. some games will fair well, but in some big places, like hyrule field in ZTP, you'll have some issues with.

Oh, and dump vista... it's terrible.

Windows vista is just fine, of course it eats up more resources then xp, its a new os. We arent going to keep using 512mb of ram forever.

Question
So just to be clear... JitIL should be faster than Jit isn't it??

I attach my settings, any suggestion??
also i noticed that if i turn off "other audio" looks faster but i can not use the frame limiter so the music is sometimes too fast sometimes too slow.. its not really better..

yes, but only in 32bit.

64bit jitil is not supposed to be faster... in fact it was not supposed to be available at all in the first place.

why ?

framelimiter is game independent, you just have to choose the right limit.

Cause if i disable the Other Audio option in the hle plugin it says i am disabling the speed throttle too (this is what it says if you put the mouse pointer over the "Enable Other Audio" option.

Thanks for your answer... now i see why i don't get a speed boost even if i am use a 64 bit OS... in xp 32 bit i was using Jit IL which is faster... and maybe as faster as Jit in 64 bit!
