Hey fellas, I'm basically one of those people who probably won't have much to contribute as far as helpful info, but I can't think of a better place to ask for some help. I've done hours of homework on this and searched here with no luck...

This isn't a Dolphin-specific issue, rather just a general one that I've been bashing my head against the wall for weeks on. I'm looking to use my Wiimote(s) as a mouse, primarily for certain arcade-style FPS games, and I've pretty much hit the wall on making it work.

I can pair and connect my old-school Wiimote (without Wiimotion Plus) to the PC no problem, I can use GlovePIE or JoyToKey to verify that the button inputs are functioning when connected, and when I go to calibrate the Wiimote, I can clearly see that the X and Y axis and Rotation functions are working normally.

Problem is that I have ZERO control over the mouse pointer like this, moving the Wiimote accomplishes nothing. I've tried the stock Sensor Bar, I modified a different sensor bar to work via USB, and I went and bought a wireless unit just as a last ditch effort. if I pair the Wiimote to the Wii and use the homemade sensor bar or the new wireless one, the Wiimote moves the cursor just fine on the Wii, so it's not like the Wiimote isn't seeing the IR bulbs. When using on the PC, I always have the Wii "off" so it doesn't pair to the Wii. When I do use some scripts (Or "enable cursor" in WiiRemote) then the mouse cursor either shoots to the top left corner and acts like it's magnetized there, or it just shoots to the top of the screen in the middle and behaves the same way. Moving the Wiimote accomplishes nothing, moving the mouse moves the cursor and then it gets "sucked" back to the position at the top again once you stop moving it.

I've tried using the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack (and forced the drivers onto my device), the factory drivers for my adapter, Intel drivers, and I've done all of these after a fresh OS install as well, but I just can't seem to get any of my 4 Wiimotes to move the mouse cursor on my PC. Like I said, the buttons all work fine, the Nunchuck works fine, I can even control the mouse cursor with the Nunchuck if I want. I've also tried a program called "TouchMote" which did nothing, and I've also tried using the HID Driver made specifically for the Wiimote and I still have the same issues.

Does anyone have any clue as to why I'm not getting any Z input sent to the PC from my Wiimote? I'd have trouble believing it's a Driver or Adapter issue because it absolutely communicates button presses and X/Y Axis/Rotation info just fine.

The Bluetooth Adapter is internal, it's a combo WiFi/BT card made by ASUS which I installed about a month ago. Any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks for reading, hopefully someone has an idea here.

The PC is a MSI Mobo, MSI GTX970, Core i5-4460, 8GB RAM, running Windows 8.1. I feel like the world just doesn't want me to control my mouse via Wiimote, lol.

I've done this with Glovepie and DolphinBars before, so I have a little experience with this. Enough to suggest you try https://www.julianloehr.de/educational-work/hid-wiimote/ . It should work a lot better than other methods you have tried! I mean, they literally fixed tons of issues in our Wii Remote code, so they very much know what they are doing!

Oh, and...

Moved to Defino Plaza! Since this isn't really related to Dolphin.
