Issues with the memory card

Out of no where today when I was trying to play a game it told me that I needed to re-format it. This wouldn't be an issue if I hadn't previously formatted it when I first used Dolphin.

I tried messing around with the memory card file, creating new ones, reverting to old ones (that I know work), etc...

Nothing works.

I'd rather not lose my current save files and/or have this error again. Anyone know how to fix it?

Still a very odd issue since i've only been playing one game, but i'll try it out.

It's not an issue. It is desirable behavior.
