Hello all. First off I'd like to give thanks to all the devs/people involved with this project. I've watched Dolphin grow into an awesome GC/Wii emulator.
I've actually been in the emulation scene since 2002. I'm an admin to another site but I don't want to reveal who I am.....yet anyway Tongue
Never actually got into doing any game cube, wii emulation to here recently.

Now to the issue at hand.
First off I did use the search feature but couldn't find any solutions for this.
I also looked though that 154 page topic.

The game freezes/black screens when I go in any pipe or start a new level.
What's funny the very first time I played the game it didn't. But since then no matter the build I use, even with fresh installs the issue persist.

I've tried all settings shown I could find for the game.

If needed my system specs are:
Core i7 950 @ 3.8 Ghz
12 GB DDR3
2x GTX 570
Win7 Pro x64

Thanks in advance for any help getting this solved.

which SVN and can you post configs.
I liked the part where it worked, except there was no such part.

I've tried all of these:

Where configurations are concerned I've tried all posted in this topic.

Nice comp. Are you sure it is not a heating issue with your sli graphic cards?

What DirectX are you using? DX11 is still buggy so i would go DX9 for now

Thanks, 100% certain I'm not overheating. CPU never gets above the 40's c , GPUS never exceed the 50's c. I'm on H20 Big Grin

Used/Tried both 9 and 11

Donkey Kong Country Returns, Mario Party 8, Super Mario Galaxy 1& 2, and about 10 GC games work great.
Issue/s only seems to be with NSMB. I did dump it myself. All the others as well though. My next step is acquiring/trying different source.

Okay so I've tried a different game and it's still the same.
It's not a big issue as I have a Wii console.
Still, what's up with this? Huh Every other game I've tried plays fine.

I can't say for sure since it works well here. Try r6000, that always solves my problems. Try 32-bit builds. Try toggling the "lock threads to cores" option for more speed.

Something with particular game anyway. I keep all my emulation files on 3 separate HDDS. One the Wii emulation files are on is only 1 month old. No system files/programs are present on it. All other emulation works fine and it's only NSMB I have any issues with period. My system drive is only 2 months old so that's pretty fresh.

I was wondering if this could be a registry error?

I forgot to note this before and it's probably the most important bit on info.
I had added some AR and Gecko codes prior to NSMB going nuts. So I just deleted the whole emu folder and download a fresh. I have the cheats disabled but the problem still persist.

I'm by no means a newbie to emulation but this really has me puzzled. It's a real head scratcher indeed.

Thanks! Will give that a go Smile
