How well should GC TP run on a Pixel 4 XL? Been having frame rate issues. When I get to Faron Forest the first time as human Link FPS drops to 20 and lower with audio stuttering and it's even worse when returning as Wolf Link. Can't imagine how bad Hyrule Field would be.

Is this just one of those games that won't run as smoothly? Could it have to do with the specific copy I have?

Thanks! That already seems to have helped. Going to keep resting to make sure.

Now how do I enable cheats in the ini? Also where can I find all the other available codes?

hi, for twilight princess on gc, the speed hack helps along with widescreen and other codes,

they're easy to find and add to the .config,

i found them from a youtube video for zelda TP (NTSC) version, added them to my game's config and the game works alot better now, like fully playable, only on the NSTC version, not for PAL i think?

i added them on my device from chrome (copy paste) in dolphin MMJ,
tho this will work for dev verion too, you just add the codes into the new gameid.ini file and enable in the
dolphin.ini for dev version "enable cheats = true" instead of false, and your good to go.

plus the gc version is alot simpler to use than the wii version, (no motion conrtrols or the like),
just good old gc control mappings Smile

have fun with TP Smile

is the $16:9 widescreen AR code needed if you enable widescreen option from the settings in dolphin?

i saw that from a certain dolphin verion (125xx) and above the option fo widescreen was added,
so if you enable this setting (from wii setting menu in Core options),

you don't need the AR code for $16:9 on top?

i tyred to add the hyrule feild speed hack and no bloom codes along with widescreen to my TP game in dolphin

twilight princess only needs the AR codes for:

$Hyrule feild speed hack
$widescreen? (you could use the widescreen option form the core (wii option) instead?
$no bloom (Raif)

This setting only applies to Wii games. So if you're using the GameCube version of the game, you need the AR code (or some other kind of widescreen hack), and if you're using the Wii version of the game, you don't.

By the way, the setting defaulted to 16:9 in older versions of Dolphin too. The only thing that has changed now that the setting is exposed in the GUI is that it now is easier to run Wii games in 4:3.
