I mostly use dolphin to play brawl/project m, and every once in a while it starts dropping frames, speed and sound is unaffected, the fps never drops, it's just that some frames aren't displayed making it look....off and not as smooth.
This happens at random and on all stages, doesn't matter if there is a lot on the screen or many characters at once. It doesn't seem to happen on my laptop, but only when I play on my desktop connected to my flatscreen (it's the only screen used for the desktop, connected via hdmi). Sometimes it doesn't happen for quite some time but then randomly starts up again (in one session that is), I tried switching to the dsound plugin someone suggested but that created a horrible delay on the sound and the frame skipping still occurred, maybe just not as frequently, same thing happened when using the no audio output plugin.
The same thing happened on a different tv when playing from my laptop (again, looked fine on my actual laptop screen) so it seems to be connected to the whole dolphin-tv part, if I exit fullscreen and then go back to fullscreen the problem disappears again for a while.
I locked the fullscreen resolution to 16:9, tried locking the fps to audio, limit at 60, on auto, various graphic enhancement, gaming mode set on the tv, using the default settings and so on, nothing seems to make a difference.
