Issues with emulated Wii NAND... what gives?

When I boot up the Wii System Menu, it seems to report that the system memory is full. Puzzled, I went to check it out. And unfortunately, it spits out a bunch of invalid write and read errors at me, and once it loads the data menu, and 22 duplicates of a 128-block Super Smash Bros Brawl save show up. I was trying to fix it myself, and I actually did fix it for a moment, but I needed to get my data back on the emulated NAND. But when I got everything back on, it seems the issue came back. It fully worked before I downloaded 5.0-4875, so what the hell gives!?

Also, games yak at me for not having any space on the Wii system storage, which is annoying if I ever want to start playing new games.

While I was fiddling with this, duplicates of my Mario Kart Wii and Pokemon Battle Revolution saves have shown up. I guess the issue makes it look like you have duplicates of your most recent save? No idea.

I'm willing to PM whomever wants to diagnose my emulated Wii's NAND and send them a .ZIP of the files. It has stuff from my Wii U's vWii, so I'm certain it's not a good idea to share them all willy-nilly.

P.S. Unfortunately, deleting channels doesn't seem to free up any storage at all. At least that's what the "Blocks Open" counter seems to indicate.

Please do not share your NAND with anyone, as it likely contains copyrighted data.

What is the size of the "Wii" directory in your Dolphin profile? What versions were you using previously? Old versions are completely buggy when it comes to Wii HLE, so it's possible something got messed up.

Also, I recommend not touching the system menu savedata management if it throws out invalid reads. On real hardware, the menu would have already crashed. On Dolphin, it didn't, and who knows what it may be doing to your NAND.

Size of Wii directory: 799 MB (includes a 128 MB sd.raw)

Previous versions used (out of what I still have on my HDD):
4.0.2
5.0
Various 5.0 dev builds from 5.0-80 to 5.0-4742, getting new versions sporadically.

My DSP Emulator Engine is set to "DSP LLE Recompiler", if you deem that necessary.

Looks like I have to manually reset my emulated Wii's NAND, eh? I have my Wii stuff on a Wii U vWii, so a proper guide on how to port stuff from a vWii NAND backup to Dolphin would be nice. Feel free to point me to one, if you please.

Well, your NAND is way too large, which is why deleting channels seems to have no effect. The Wii is limited to ~512MB IIRC, but because of an ancient bug in Dolphin, some directories weren't taken into account for size calculations.

Yeah, Dolphin's NAND emulation has gotten better, fixing the fact you could have NANDs that were too big.
