As you doesn't give any info about your CPU , I have no idea what clock speed it is running at :/
Your CPU i5 5200U is an ultra low power CPU which is not quite the same as any "normal CPU"
It could run as low as 700MHz (0.7GHz) to save power and with this speed , most games are unplayable
By using throttlestop , you can control your CPU speed to any value you want .
Same deal to your GPU , you can't control your GPU speed unless you force it with Nvidia Control Panel

Edit : Btw , For Metroid Prime , 2.0GHz is not fast enough . You will need more GHz , 2.5GHz will do
