Hihi, decided to use a later version than -367 but im getting something similar to lag spikes in parts where my frames go down below 30.
My settings are no different than in -367. Also my frames are lower than usual, its like my PC cant keep up with the refresh rate, the audio and graphics are pausing and recurring every tenth of a second or so. The settings i have are :

vbeam enabled
dual core enabled
idle skipping enabled
Scaled EFB Copy enabled
Disable Fog enabled
Ignore format changes enabled
Open MP texture decoder enabled
EFB Copies: Texture
Texture cache: Fast
External Frame Buffer Disabled

Backend: Direct3D9
Frame Limit: 30 Checked Limit by FPS
DSP HLE (fast) and LLE makes it worse
Audio backend: Dsound

Cant seem to fix it, any help would be appreciated Smile

That's an awful lot of hacks you are using. Try turning off the vbeam speed hack and OpenMP texture decoder and see if that helps. Also, "Frame Limit: 30 Checked Limit by FPS" undo that. Go with auto, or if audio pops get on your nerves, go with audio. According to your profile you are using Windows 8, so make sure you use Xaudio2 instead of Dsound. Dsound is barely supported in Win7 and 8.

Unfortunately your processor is pretty crappy. So if you can't run a game fullspeed, you'll have audio issues in newer revisions. What games are you trying to run and can they run at fullspeed in latest?

I tried what you said and made no difference. im trying to run xenoblade at the moment. its at full speed untill the emulator loads up some monsters and I start a battle, then All of a sudden my frames just goes really slow audio aswell.

In 367 I had some buzzing/mechanical music or voices sometimes but it would stop for a while after loading a new area. I guess if my processor aint cut out for this revision guess i just gonna have to change back then :>

For Xenoblade use latest builds. Sound issues have been fixed. And no more freezes.

EDIT: Seems I skipped the title of your thread Tongue . Anyway latest builds are better for this game.

For your low speed in battles there aren't a lot of things you can do. Try to overclock eventually

Did your computer run Xenoblade at full speed 100% of the time in the old revision?

Turn off V-sync if you have that enabled. Progressive scan will make the game slower, so turn that off too if you have it on.

no frames would drop to somewhere around 20~29fps cutscenes and battles, the issues im having are not the same as the older revision.

v-sync is already off
