Issues maping cursor to joystick

Hello everyone, new to the forums
I've got a question concerning the cursor and joysticks.

I've been trying to map the cursor to my PS3 gamepad and in game it gets buggy. It's a bit hard to explain but let's just say that the radius is very limited, I've tried changing the IR to 100 and I get nothing positive. I can move right - left without issues, but up is limited to a certain height

Using a joystick is not a good idea. You should let the cursor as it is

Yeah using the mouse, I think I'll get used to it.

I can't use the mouse, either the controller, the cursor goes crazy when I enter the game, I don't know what to do, I've tried everything...

It should be fine with the mouse, except it's not as precise as the original wiimote. I've tried everything, it's unplayable with the controller
