Hello, I am new to dolphin and new to getting controller hardware working in general.
I downloaded dolphin 5.0 with the intent of playing SSB Brawl particularly. Pursuant to that goal I bought two cheap GC controllers and a GC to WiiU/PC USB adapter made by a company called "ORTZ Gaming"(This is where I got it:https://www.amazon.com/Ortz®-Gamecube-Co...B00VF3DUGW After some trouble I got the whole system to be about 90% working with Brawl in the sense that inputs are being registered appropriately for the most part. I say for the most part because for some reason the controllers have L bound to R and have R bound to Z and have Z bound to nothing at all. Furthermore one of the triggers seems to be constantly spammed with inputs meaning that when I actually try and play brawl the characters will spam their shields on and off until they pop. I have tested these controllers against a real working GC and found no such issue and I have tested OEM controllers against dolphin and found them to be similarly flawed. I have also found the input issue can be eliminated using keyboard inputs or simply disconnecting the controller meaning that this is an adapter specific issue. This sounds like an issue that should readily manageable by re configuring the controllers except that Dolphin isn't allowing me to configure controllers beyond toggling rumble or toggling simulating DK bongos.

My operative assumption is that there is some kind of driver conflict occuring and I have tried to address that by using Zadig to reinstall the WUP-028 drivers in accordance with this article: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?t...phin_Setup without success.

Another potential answer I am considering is a manufacturing flaw in the adapter hardware itself

I have attempted to root out the issue to the best of my ability without success and google has not helped either. Any and all help is appreciated and I am happy to provide any information you wish.

Thank you!

System Specs:
Win 10 64bit
Nvidia GTX 960
8GB DDR3
i5-4690k @3.5GHZ
Dolphin 5.0

Unless you know that this adapter works without problems on a Wii U, I'm pretty sure the adapter is faulty. This isn't the first time I hear of a non-Nintendo non-Mayflash adapter with that exact issue.

Damn, thank you. Should have gone for the nintendo adapter but I didnt even concieve of the possibility that nintendo might have made a USB adapter.
