Issue with FPS on new PC

Hello,

I recently got a new PC with Nvidia Geforce GTX 960M graphics. Yesterday, I was playing Melee on Dolphin and it was running fine. However, when I tried to play today, I was experiencing a large drop in FPS, but I'm not sure why.

Could anyone please help me with this? I'm glad to provide more details if required.

Thanks!

Do you have it set to run at maximum performance?

If you're talking about the graphics configuration, there only thing I changed was checking the use fullscreen button. All other options are the same. Not really sure where to check for the performance settings otherwise.

In the nvidia control panel you should be able to change it on a per program basis.

Hey, I think I figured out what I needed to do. I went to view -> purge cache and it seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the help though!

If you updated your drivers that could have been the reason.
