I have played every single level of nsmb except level 3 on Wolrd 4. Why? Because when you made it through the level, the game crashes immediately after mario grinds down the flag and goes through the door.

Following popup comes up:

"Unknown pointer address prefix 57, report this to the devs:
0x57FC980F
Continue?
[YES] [NO]

I clicked [YES] and nothing happens, dolphin crashes. On clicking [NO] it also crashes.
I have tested this on rev 4682, 4709 and 4710.

The prefix and memory address are variable. I just played the level again and it shows: "Unknown pointer address prefix 35, report this to the devs: 0x3596065B".

I think the reason this bug hasn't been reported yet, is because it's not necessary to play Level 4-3 to play through the game! But I just wanted to get all Star Coins to play all levels on (secret) World 9.

Can anyone confirm this bug?

try enabling "Safe Texture Cache" in the Graphics plugin's config Smile

Mmm....Sort of creating safe cache, keep the emulation at good state to help prevent crash during games. When starting it, passing to other area, saving, etc.
OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional x86
Processor type: Intel Atom, 1600 MHz (4 x 400)
Memory System: 1011 MB (DDR2 SDRAM)
Graphics Card: Mobile Intel® 945 Express Chipset Family (224 MB)

what safe texture cache does is that whenever the cache deletes a texture it checks to see that the texture has been deleted, and when it is going to use a texture it checks to see that the texture is valid Tongue, and it makes sure that textures have been created successfully Smile

Jojojo bros,

the error occured at my system 10 minutes and now i looked up here and i was immediately helped! You guys are really amazing, thanks a lot!

But it's weird, that the error only appears after finishing world 4-3 and as "mamario" said this doesn't infect the other single player levels.. Okay, i don't care. If it works now..^^
