Hi.
I´m new here and new using the emulator. I don't own a real Wii.

I've tried Iron man 1 and 2, Speed Racer, Ghostbusters and Transformers 2 and I'm not sure if is worth to buy a wiimote + nunchaku to use the emulator.

I'll appreciate your opinions.

Thanks.

Gonzalo

If the game you want to play runs great on your PC, then it is worth it!

From the sounds of your post, you've illegally downloaded wii games that you don't own.
We don't condone that here.

Thanks for all your answers!!

Obviously my English isn't the best, but what I tried to say was that I don't have a Wii, so I don't have a wiimote.

About the games, I have to say you are right, I didn't bought any game yet. I don't approve piracy neither, but I though that by the cost of the games, I should be sure that the emulator works on my pc before spend money in games or even a wiimote. The games here aren't cheap.

Back to the games I mentioned:

Ironman 2 runs great
Ironman 1 don’t show the movies buy plays good
Ghostbusters runs really slowly
Speed Racer is the worst, the image keeps flashing. I tried with some tips about configuration and it runs but the controls don’t work properly and the graphics looks really rough.

That's why I asked about the wiimote. If it works on the emulator, I'll buy the control and some games, but I’m not going to spend money in games that I can't run on the Pc without checking them first, because I don't own a console.

By example, I have plenty of PS original games, but I don't have a Ps1, I always preferred PC games over consoles, because I’m not a full time player.

Thanks again!!!

Gonzalo.

Its surely a much better experience playing using a real wiimote, however you will need the nunchuck and a wireless sensor bar, what will make things more expensive than what you were expecting.

I made my own sensor bar using a tutorial for making a sensor bar using a usb cable and some infra red leds, its really pretty simple if you follow the tutorial, just google for it. It will not work as good as a real sensor bar, but will work well.

I forgot to mention that if your computer doesnt have bluetooth you will also need a bluetooth dongle.
