I see SeannyM has mostly been adding to the Android port on GitHub, but overall I see little overall improvement for the major issues. As such I see commits slowing down over the last few months and Wii input still isn't supported.

I am posting this to gather what's predicted to come from Android and Dolphin ... is there much left to be added by current contributors? SeannyM, Sonicadvance1, and LionCash are the only ones that have been currently doing anything with Dolphin on Android, for the most part.

Is there any goal to get Wii support extended, try and maybe improvement graphical bugs on certain drivers, etc.?

Basically, is Dolphin on Android going to get anywhere further by the current devs?

From what I've seen, it's expected to keep progressing forward. A lot of the limitations are on iffy graphics drivers on mobile, and working around those takes the majority of the developer's time.

The graphics problems only apply to Adreno GPUs, and nothing will be done in Dolphin's code to fix them as it should be Qualcomm who fixes their own driver bugs. All we can do for that is wait for fixes in Adreno drivers. Wii input is not a high priority for me right now, when I get around to it my next priority is a fully working multitouch setup for the onscreen controls (which I am about halfway done but do not have time to finish currently). I don't know how high Wii input is on the priority list for anyone else.

The other GPUs/drivers have plenty of bugs too, it's just that Qualcomm's got ten times more than anyone else. There are a handful of Mali-specific bugs, and HdkR has nothing good to say about PowerVR chips:

Huh I've never heard anyone be so negative about PowerVR. Is it really that bad?

I dunno, I've never written a line of GL code in my life. HdkR's written plenty, but I don't think he's had the opportunity to test on any PowerVR chips yet.

Yeah I don't really know much beyond the hardware specs. At least, not on android.
