Or will Qualcomm continue to support the messy adreno 3xx for the future?

Forget about Qualcomm drivers, they're not going to fix them, they had plenty of time. Freedreno is coming, it would become our main drivers

Freedreno supports GLES 2.0 for quite a while (since May 13 2014 to be more specific) and some extensions from GLES 3.0. It's a matter of time when they'll be available. Probably it will happen much sooner than Qualcomm will fix their mess.

From the blog: Ilia has also started sending a lot of patches for the compiler to flesh out integer support, add new instructions (in particular texture sample instructions), and other things that will be needed for GL3/GLES3. In fact as a result of his work, we are already at ~85% pass for GL3 despite missing some bullet-point features!
