Dolphin has nothing to do with Nintendo.
The only thing that does are the games and they have nothing to do with Dolphin Wink

I believe it is however illegal to make a backup of a protected disc,but I thought nintendos tos says we can have backups, so I got no idea.

u CAN have ONE copy of disc.as long as u OWN original.
