But idle skipping helps doesn't it? and yeah @OP, yer CPU will not reach fullspeed on some games but you can afford to crank up your visuals a bit.

PC games rely more on your graphics card, and you have a great one by the way, but emulators rely on processing power, and yours won't cut it. The recommended CPU is the Intel i5-4670k.
