I like how it's pretty cheap but I've heard some sensor bars people got off ebay have weak IR signals. Anyone have any experience with it? It seems to be selling well, I'm just looking for someone with experience with the product itself to vouch for it.

I bought one off of Ebay and it ceased to funtion after a couple of days. It was too cheap (especially since it was from china).
I suggest getting a larger wireless sensor bar for better accuracy, longer distances and stronger IR signals even though they are just LED lights.

If you get a wired sensor bar for Dolphin, you'll need to connect it to a Wii anyways unless you get an adaptor of some sort.
