Hi, guys, I always play wii party with some friends.

When we get to this game, no matter what we try, nothing seems to make the minigame do something besides moving wiimotes on every possible way.

The minigame is this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Apsz0FmqNxc (from 1:00:50 to 1:01:10)

Using real wiimotes. Other minigames works just fine.

To clarify for those who don't want to watch the video, this mini game is the mine cart panic game.

Are you properly holding the wiimote on the side and pumping up and down with your friend properly? as in, one person is up when the other is down, and vice versa?

Hi, yes, tried everything. Even holding both wiimotes to avoid any syncing problems with the other person.

Can you verify the game is a correct dump? Verify the partitions and check the MD5 against a database?

Yes, it´s a correct dump.

The minigame doesnt crash, just always get hit by the rock.

Since We know there are some limitations on other games, like the bowling from wii sport resort, where control doesnt work properly on manual mode (it´s a know bug), was wondering if here is happening something similar or it s just me that cant get the proper wiimotes moves done right.

This minigame works perfectly for me. You have to understand what the game wants though.

Verified on the U.S. and Japanese version of the game.

Hint: It's the downward motion that matters, and you have to time it when the game raises the minecart lever up. It takes a really big motion, even on console.

Thanks jmc47. I´ll try again.

Can you confirm it´s working on bt emulation and on bt passthrough?

Thanks

BT emulation and BT Passthrough both act normally. It's actually a little easier in passthrough? Or that could be placebo effect.

Well, it could be Big Grin Passthrough is a little better on latencies.

I´ll give it a try again to see how it goes.

I think my version is pal, but should be the same.

Thanks.
