Yeah, but if he really wants a laptop... a desktop is definiteley the better choice, but the OP should choose the best option for himself.
Is this laptop specs enough?

Absolutely. You can choose a laptop for Dolphin. I got one.
But you have to accept : - not to be able to play all your games full speed (so to be indulgent about level of playability ) - not to be able to play some really demanding games at all - not to be able to get a good sound since you can forget LLE most of the time

Well, first, I'm a girl LOL..
and yeah I actually want a laptop since I can't always sit at my desk to play.. And a desktop PC consumes too much power that I had to pay a lot of extra money for the electricity bill :/ If I get a desktop, I know I can get twice the specs for the same price though.. Since I will definitely use dolphin (and pcsx2), maybe I really should buy a desktop.. Hmm, alright I'll reconsider my decision. Thanks guys.

There are no girls on the Internet. (Err, no , I'm just kidding)
In case of overheating , you should disable the AMD 7670M or add "Dolphin.exe" to power saving mode via AMD Catalyst Control Center , run dolphin with Intel HD 4000 -> This will lower the temp by 10C or more Opposite effects : kill the speed , lower resolution to 1x IR Laptop: Youtube Channel (Vintage Tech/Watches) :: 10-31-2012, 08:52 PM

Anyways.. if I get a PC.. what processor would you guys recommend for dolphin (and pcsx2)? I saw many people use i5 2500k and overclock it to 4ghz++, but i'm not sure if it's really the best *affordable* one.. And how many cooling fans are you guys using to make sure it's not running hot? I don't really understand about fans X__X Oh and I would appreciate a lot if you could recommend a good graphic card (but not too expensive).. I usually use Radeon, but not sure which type I should be getting.

With 600 Dollars, you won't be happy with a notebook for playing dolphin.
A desktop is a far better choice with that budget, self-build preferred
i5 3450 + Asrock Z77 Pro 4
No K overclocking 3.1->3.9GHz GPU : Sapphire AMD 6670 GDDR5 or Nvidia GTX 650 or Nvidia GTX 550Ti (i recommend GTX 650) You should let someone build a pc for you , it's much cheaper than buying an OEM PC Laptop: Youtube Channel (Vintage Tech/Watches) ::
Yes, I already know someone who could build a PC..
Is i5 3450 better than i5 2500k? how about i5 3570k? And.. i5 3450 can be overlocked to 4ghz++?
