Just use msi afterburner to check gpu temps and coretemp or realtemp for cpu temp. Atleast thats what I use for desktop,I think same programs should work for laptop 07-20-2012, 12:26 PM
Well I used CPUID and my temps got up to 90 degrees (Celcius) at one point but it floated around 80 for the most part. I did have firefox open so idk if that made a difference.

Guess I'll be getting a notebook cooler ASAP.
BTW I read that when temps get high, thermal throttling comes into play but my system never seemed to slow down (well enough) to bring speeds below 100%.
