Is it possible to set up/map a generic gamepad controller in Dolphin like a Wiimote+Nunchuck?
Is there any tutorial/video?

You should make a new thread for that.

But, it's pretty simple so I'll just answer it here. Make sure the drivers for your gamepad are working properly (Go into Devices and Printers and make sure your gamepad shows up in that window.), then go into Dolphin, in controllers, select Emulated Wiimote, Configure, Select your gamepad from the dropdown list in the top left. Then set your controls.

Oh, that is absolutely true. You have probably never tried the proprietary AMD driver on Linux. If you did, you'd have fun with black screens on resume and crashes.

Don't even need Linux to see that.

Christ, the salt. Hardly being impartial or on-topic, are you? Just so you know what impartiality looks like, I'd say that Nvidia drivers are better with OpenGL, have quicker optimization of newer games, and have better multithreading in DX11. That said, there hasn't been an incident of drivers actually killing AMD cards in the past 5 years, which can't be said of Nvidia. Also your constant claims about AMD drivers crashing all over the place in Windows is plain hyperbole. There are plenty of AMD users who haven't had driver instability issues since Tahiti. It turns out, unsurprisingly, that people with stability issues (in Windows, I know AMD on linux is a shitfest) tend to be inexperienced overclockers.

Edit: sorry, am being pretty condescending.

Have you seen the bugs we've run into with AMD drivers?

Also, read my comment please.

I'm not a developer, my only experience is on the client side. As a user of graphics cards and frequenter of the typical PC forums, I've not encountered anything to suggest AMD drivers are crashing and black screening a lot due to driver instability. There isn't even mention of this kind of behaviour from the few well-known Nvidia-biased review sites. I have a boatload of complaints about the AMD drivers, but there's just nothing out there suggesting they're that delicate.

Edit: Ok, I see "(I'm overstating this)". Still, my experience has been that driver crashes and black screens are only ever results of hardware instability. I do always read user experiences before installing new drivers, and I've yet to see mass incidence of drivers causing occasional crashes without user error or a hardware fault being involved.

I ask here instead of opening a new thread, since it's always related to a new build.
Should I buy this sensor bar to play with the original Wiimote+Nunchuck at the PC?
