Hahaha, no. AMD processors suck eggs when it comes to Dolphin.

An A10 5xxx/6xxx @ 4.0GHz or higher then maybe you will have a chance to run non-demanding games
https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-the-legend-of-zelda-the-wind-waker-cpu-benchmark
i5 3210M @ 2.9GHz (Dual Core Mobile CPU) still manage to beat AMD A10 5800k @ 3.8GHz (Quad Core Desktop CPU) in Dolphin Benchmark
i5 3210M isn't a "good enough" CPU for Dolphin atm ...Those two laptops are using low-end CPUs (A10 has 2 modules , A6 has only 1 module) which is too weak for Dolphin
http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-A-Series-A6-5350M-Notebook-Processor.89642.0.html
You will get what you pay for . For Dolphin , you should choose either i7 4702MQ or i7 4700MQ
Laptop: (Show Spoiler)
Clevo W230SS : 3200x1800 IPS | i7 4700MQ @ 3.6GHz (Intel XTU + Triple fan mod) | GTX 860M GDDR5 | 128GB Toshiba CFD SSD | 16GB DDR3L 1600MHz
Aspire 715 43G : 1080p 144Hz |  R5 5625U @ 4.3GHz | Nvidia RTX 3050 4GB | 500GB WD SSD  | 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
Mini PC :: (Show Spoiler)
G3258 @ 4.6GHz | ELSA GTX 750 | Asrock Z87E ITX | 600W SFX 80+ Gold Silverstone + SG06-LITE | Corsair Vengeance 8GB 2000MHz | Scythe Kozuti + Ao Kaze | 45TB 2.5" Ex HDD (in total) , Zelda Gold Wiimote , LE Wii Classic Controller , Gold LE PS3 DualShock , BlackWidow Chroma ,
Now Playing : Xenoblade Definitive Edition on Yuzu - Switch Emu

Don't listen to them. Buying a i7-4700mq and a good gpu will be in the thousand range. Just get that and upgrade it to a a10-5750m. Of course you won't be able to play full speed but it will be playable with turbo.

Ehm, 30 to 40 fps when playing a level for a 60fps game is far from fine. You need double that. Never mind when you need to enable lle audio to pass points in Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2 that the game crashes with hle, it will become a slideshow.

Such old Dolphin version . You're funny , man
noteboookcheck Wrote:First PCMark 7 benchmarks show a performance increase of around 10 percent on the A10-4600M (5750M: 2175 points, 4600M: 1965 points). Thus, the A10-5750M would place roughly at the level of a Core i3-2330M (Sandy Bridge).
Btw , i3 2330M is a low-end dual core CPU with 2.2GHz clock speed . It's far too weak compared to FX 8120
Since A10 has 2 modules (4 cores 4 threads) . Only half of those cores/threads are used by Dolphin -> less efficient than i3 2330M
Perhaps , you should look at some other benchmarks

Even a weak CPU like Intel 1st gen Core i3 390M @ 2.67GHz could beat it

Dude what are you talking about? That's when recording. I don't know if you know this but recording takes away from your framerate. Just in case you didn't know. Also it's Bulldozer not Piledriver. None of you even really looked at anything did you?

Put it at 3.3ghz when playing dolphin and underclock it when not playing dolphin and you'll be fine.

FPS:
Recording 25-60FPS
Without bandicam 35-60FPS

And like i said at certain points he will need to use lle audio. Do you want to make me post of a video running that part of the game with my sandybridge with hle audio (not ivy bridge or haswell that is about 25% faster clock for clock) for comparison? Without recording i am getting 80 to 120 fps using the latest dolphin version and not an old one. Could you explain then how his experience will be better with an amd cpu that you are suggesting?
