Hey all... I'm new to Dolphin and am having a terrible time trying to get it to work. I'm not a computer genius and to be honest I have no desire to read through tomes of information on the Wiki to try and figure it all out.

I just want my games to work.

Anyway, my problem is with syncing a Wiimote. Dolphin says that it detects the Wiimote, but the 4 lights keep blinking perpetually. When I try to launch a game, there is no response from the Wiimote. How can I make Dolphin actually use the Wiimote?

Thanks

I will say the wii-mote is a tricky one to learn at first. Yes one way is to read all of this info, the other way is to ask questions. I'm not sure about tut's but here is a starter.

1) 4 buttons means the battery is full and the mote is not assigned a player. When you get is to sync it will go to one light ( player one ).
2) make sure you have all Nintendo brand cr@p. If you dont, expect problems. Check list:
a) wii bar
b) BlueTooth adapter
c) wii-mote
3) using the Windows blue tooth, right click and show devices. If your wii-mote is in there and its grey, delete it. If it's not there click add device. While its searching press 1 and 2 at the same time. The buttons will blink and windows should find it. Once done click the 3rd ( last ) option. Sorry I forget what it says...
4) make sure it is listed in game controllers as Nintendo RVL-CNT... then open dolphin.
5) press the wii-mote button. It should vibrate. If it did, you now shoudl have one light. TIME TO PLAY!

if not, try to "pair up", press the 1 and 2 button and wait, repeat 5)

Let us know how it goes!
