Is there a way to use my cellphone as controller?

So, I was wondering if there is a way to use the motion sensor on my android  phone as a motion plus sensor, or if sometime in the future it will be possible.

There used to be a way to use your phone as a wiimote, but you no longer can (and don't expect it to come back)

It will probably never be possible, because one, UDP Wiimote was dropped, two, emulating Motion Plus is a pain and an UX nightmare. Seriously, buying a Motion Plus is easier and it will just work.
