When you host a netplay session on the bottom right should be a button that says "Assign Controller Ports" That is how you assign who will be plugged into which port. However there is no option to have two people on the same port, nor have I heard of or seen a build that supports this (But it is possible that it exists) Might I ask what you are trying to do?

Ah, well I'm trying to set it up so that my friend (who has never played the game before) can play it alongside me. It'll get boring if I could only watch, so a way for us to play together (by switching player or having us map ourselves to certain buttons) would make it a lot more fun. He wants my guidance since he doesn't have the time or patience to google things if he gets stuck (only a theory of mine, though).

If anything is found please hit me up!
