Is there a way to change the game speed while it's running?

I'm playing Skies of Arcadia and the combat goes really slowly, I was wondering if there's a way to make the game run faster and then back to normal at the press of a button. Currently I think you can only change game speed from the settings and only when it's not running.

No, unfortunately this isn't possible right now.

You can to set the emulated clock speed to less than 100(35 to 75 range) for a nice speed boost. What device are you using?
